Sovereign’s Student Prize Portugal 2020 is showcasing its second exhibition of this year’s Prize finalists at the reception of the Marina de Lagos.
Twenty outstanding pieces of artwork created by Algarve secondary school students are on display as part of this yearly Prize organised by Sovereign-Consultoria Lda on behalf of the Sovereign Art Foundation.
The Foundation runs prizes worldwide to inspire, encourage and reward young artists in the community and to foster cultural development whilst raising funds for disadvantaged children and young adults of the region.
The exhibition ends on March 23 and visitors can vote for their favourite artwork for the selection of the Public vote Prize which will see the student and their school winning a prize of €300 each. The first and second prizes of €750 and €500, respectively, will be chosen by the Prize judges.
The artwork will be for sale by silent auction. Minimum bids are indicated for each artwork. If you would like to bid for one, email [email protected] with your bid. Please note that the art cannot be collected until after the Prize Awards Ceremony on July 11.
