Os Mosqueteiros – the group that owns the Intermarché, Bricomarché and Roady brands in Portugal – has donated 500 new firefighting items to national firefighters.
The group has already donated around 3,500 items to Portuguese Bombeiros, which translates into around €2 million-worth of equipment.
João Magalhães from Os Mosqueteiros Group says firefighters play a very important role in the protection of communities “which is why we feel it is our duty to give something back to these heroes”.
