Os Armacenences and Olhanense, two teams that will meet each other on the opening day (August 18) of the Campeonato Portugal Division D gave a good account of themselves at Armação de Pêra last weekend in a pre-season friendly.
João Silva and Márcio Telese scored for the home side whilst Caleb netted Olhanense’s only goal from the penalty spot.
Olhanense’s starting line-up was: Keeper: Rodrigo Moura; Defence: Lelo, Sunday Akoh, Allan and Floro; Midfield: Tiago Jogo, Diogo Martins and Leleco; Attack:
Caleb, Patrick Igwe and Sapara. On Saturday (August 10) Olhanense play their final pre-season game away against AD Cartaya (Spain), kick-off 8.00pm (7.00pm Portuguese time).
