The Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS) will be performing throughout the Algarve over Christmas, presenting an ‘original’ Christmas tale, entitled ‘O Sorriso Mágico de Sofia’, written and performed by Portuguese actress Linda Valadas.
The first concert will take place on December 16 at Albufeira’s Igreja Matriz at 9.30pm.
Others will follow at Fuseta’s Igreja do Carmo on Saturday at 9.30pm, at Quarteira’s Igreja de São Pedro do Mar on Sunday at 4pm, at Lagos’ Cultural Centre on Tuesday at 7pm, at Altura’s church on Wednesday at 9.30pm and at Alcoutim’s Espaço Guadiana next Thursday at 6pm.
The last is scheduled for Friday, December 25 at Faro’s Teatro das Figuras at 6.30pm.
Admission is free for all performances except in Lagos (€6) and Faro (€10).
