A series of concerts by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS), included in the orchestra’s Promenade Concerts series, will be taking place in Lagoa throughout the next three months.
These concerts will see the orchestra performing pieces of classical music against a backdrop of images that aim to “captivate the attention of younger audience members”.
There will also be a narrator (Rui Baeta) who will be leading the show.
The first concert, entitled ‘Notas do Mundo’, will take place on Sunday, March 29 at 4.30pm at the Carlos do Carmo auditorium. The other two shows will be held on April 19 and May 31 at the same time and venue.
Tickets cost €6 for adults and children aged 12 and over and €3 for children aged three to 11. There is also a family ticket costing €12 for two adults and a child.
