Enjoy a night of oriental dancing at the Lagoa Auditorium on November 1 at 9pm. Entitled “The Magic of the 1001 Nights”, the show is being organised by Ideias do Levante and features dance students led by their teacher and choreographer, Gabriela Sharifa. Gabriela has been dancing to oriental music since 1991, when she first became acquainted with the rhythms at the Karlsruhe Conservatory in Germany. She says the experience became “transformed her life”, as she left behind a career in the banking sector. Tickets are free but must be reserved.
