Organisers of Lisbon’s ‘freedom’ protest which went ahead last Saturday, attracting 3,000 people (click here) face criminal prosecution for “various crimes, which go from an attack on public health to not creating conditions of safety”, writes Expresso. According to a police source, PSP police are elaborating a case, but it will be up to the Public Ministry to decide whether or not to go ahead with it. One name ‘in the frame’ is Odemira magistrate Rui Fonseca e Castro who runs the ‘Magistrates for Truth’ social media page (‘Juristas Pela Verdade’).
