Over 600 people took part in the third SHARE Algarve digital marketing conference which was held between April 2 and 3 at the Centro de Congressos de Vilamoura. Organisers say it was the “biggest SHARE Algarve ever”.
“It was a huge success on many levels,” said event organiser Jorge Cabaço from Dengun Marketing.
“For the first time, we had simultaneous events taking place on three stages, the number of participants grew 30% compared to the last edition, we welcomed visitors from 17 countries, there were more exhibitors – which shows that we are doing something truly relevant and which is not limited to the sectors that are traditionally associated with innovation and technology,” he added.
Cabaço also said that the “fantastic feedback we are receiving is proof that we have created a high-quality event” and that SHARE Algarve will return to Vilamoura for its fourth edition in April 2020.
The event featured speakers from all over the world and showcased innovative startups and the latest digital marketing trends.
Among the speakers were Samuel Scott (speaker, author and columnist for The Drum), Edson Athayde (FCB Lisboa), Matz Lukmani (Google), Virgínia Coutinho (founder of the Lisbon Digital School) and Joah Santos (founder of the Nylon Agency).
And for the first time the event featured three stages: Central, where key speakers held their presentations; Marketing, which hosted several digital marketing workshops and lectures; and Innovation, where the Algarve’s latest innovative initiatives were presented.
On a general level, SHARE Algarve aims to “facilitate knowledge sharing between speakers and attendees, promoting a debate on marketing and innovation”.
