The Algarve Organ Festival, which used to take place only in Faro, is expanding to Portimão, Loulé and Tavira.
Between Friday, October 28 and Wednesday, November 26, 10 concerts will be held at five churches in the four boroughs.
The first (October 28) will take place at Portimão’s Igreja Matriz and feature musician Nuno Alexandrino and Coral Adágio, led by maestro António Alves.
The second comes a week later (November 4) at the Igreja Matriz of Boliqueime with a performance by João Paulo Janeiro, who a day later (November 5) will be joined by Filipa Oliveira at Faro’s Igreja do Carmo.
Performances return to Portimão on November 11, with Rafael Reis taking the stage at the Igreja Matriz. Then on November 18, Nuno Alexandrino will play in Boliqueime while Tiago Ferreira will perform at Igreja de Santiago, in Tavira.
