AN ORGAN concert will be performed by professional Portuguese musician João Vaz at Faro cathedral tomorrow (Saturday).
This concert, which starts at 9.30pm, is free to the public and is part of the city’s second organ festival organised by the Associação Música XXI and Faro Câmara. João Vaz, who teaches the organ at the Lisbon music academy, Escola Superior de Música, will be playing pieces written by various composers including Domenico Scarlatti, Dietrich Buxtehude and Carlos Sixas.
