Algarve oranges are for sale for 34 cents a kilo at the Avenida São João de Deus market in Portimão until tomorrow (Saturday, February 23).
The Festa da Laranja (Orange Fest) is taking place at the market this weekend and those purchasing at least 3kg of the fruit will receive a coupon to taste some of the orange-based dishes prepared by students from the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Portimão. Orange biscuits and cakes are also on sale.
