The 2nd Opera Night at the Lagoa Auditorium on June 22 received a standing ovation at the end of the performance.
Artists Carla Pontes (soprano), Francisco Brazão (bass-baritone) and pianist Cristiana Silva (assisted by Paulo Segurado) performed to a full house.
The first part of the show was dedicated to Pergolesi’s masterpiece comic opera La Serva Padrona while the second part saw the interpretation of opera excerpts by Haendel, Donizetti, Thomas, Gounod and Offenbach.
The event was organised by Ideas do Levante Association.
