NETWORK, THE association of working and business women, will hold its annual open event on Wednesday, February 13, at Hotel Jupiter in Praia da Rocha.
The day long event, including workshops and presentations organised for Network members and sponsors, also welcomes non-members, both men and women, who are engaged in a business activity in the Algarve.
“The day promises to be lively and informative,” said Janice Russell, President of Network, adding: “Held in English, the event offers up-to-date insights on business matters, with the three morning seminars being repeated in the afternoon.”
A tax consultant, Dra Filomena Ramilo, will present the first talk giving information about the latest changes in Portuguese tax laws.
This will be followed by Dr Graham Baxter, a specialist in coaching and corporate communication, who will present an interactive workshop introducing System DNA communication tools.
David Napthine, a British playwright, actor and corporate consultant, will give an interactive workshop about creative teambuilding. This will be followed by a talk about the value of investigating in organisational development from Flavio Bucciarelli, manager for Starwood hotels, at 12.30pm.
