Outdoor furniture and barbecue specialists Zonda will be holding an open day on October 2 at their showroom in Almancil to launch the new 2009 Zonda top 100 promotion in association with Kiss Fm.
Visitors will be able to see Marc Damon broadcasting a live show for Kiss Fm from the Zonda showroom.
Last year hundreds of people voted on the station for their favourite Golden Oldie tracks of all time.
A total of 750 tracks were voted for and Marc Damon played the Top 100 in a marathon radio programme throughout New Year’s Day.
During the year he has also featured many of the other tracks on his weekday programme, which is aired in English from midday until 3pm.
This year the station is building on this success by making it easier for listeners to cast their votes.
Many bars, retail outlets and restaurants will hold a stock of voting forms that can be used.
Votes can also be cast on the Kiss FM website at www.kissfmalgarve.com, on Zonda’s website at www.bbqs-algarve.com or on Marc Damon’s website at www.servicesalgarve.com, all available in English.
Instead of the marathon programme, this year Marc will be broadcasting a run-down of the Top 100 every day between Christmas day and New Year, culminating in the top 20 on New Year’s Day.
At the open day, staff of Zonda and HOUSE2HOUSE will be thanking clients for their support as well as meeting and greeting new and old friends.
Zonda will also launch the new shop within a shop where Lindy Velas range of outdoor living products, will be sold, which will complement Zonda’s own product lines and include high quality, all-weather outdoor furniture.
There will be BBQ demonstrations as well as wine tasting, cheese and pickle tasting and smoked meat and fish tasting from midday, when the event starts.
