Lagoa-based winery Quinta dos Vales in Estombar is holding an open day for the public to explore the grounds and taste the wines tomorrow (Saturday).
From 9am until 6pm, the Quinta will be open for people to view the large collection of art and full collection of the Dance of the Bears sculpture project throughout the grounds. Visitors will also be able to take a tour of the winery and taste the new wines.
Artists will be doing live demonstrations of sculpting with hand and power tools on stone as well as crafting with fibreglass and polyester, among other mediums.
Children are welcome at the Quinta, where a large bear sculpture will be available for them to decorate and the animal area will also be open for visiting. Drinks and snacks will be available to buy throughout the day.
