Members and guests of Boavista Golf near Lagos took part in an open golf competition on August 14, with a sizable field taking to the course.
Brian Noble from Boavista Golf told the Algarve Resident: “Despite blustery conditions, the scoring was good with many people taking part in the singles stableford. After the golf, there was a sell out barbecue where guests were able to enjoy live music from local band The Yesterdays, with many people dancing throughout the evening.”
Boavista Golf member Paul Haywood was the winning player with 36 points, narrowly beating Andrew Wild with 35 points and a back nine of 19 points, with Elliott Flack finishing in third.
