Today’s bulletin shows that there are now only 980 people in hospital in Portugal with Covid-19, 253 of them in intensive care. The active case count is down to 40,788. Lisbon still leads for the number of new cases (+208), and deaths (+13) but as the country yearns to reopen and get back to living, the overall picture is looking ‘good’. The Algarve, for example, registered just four new cases today, no deaths. Deaths otherwise numbered 19 in 24-hours, 3 in the north of the country, two in the centre, one in the Alentejo.
