For many years, the teachers at Centro de Línguas in Lagos have been giving Portuguese group courses in school and private lessons both in school and online. Whilst their face-to-face sessions have been extremely popular for local residents, for many students this isn´t a viable option for a variety of reasons. This is where their online sessions proved invaluable to many of learners. We currently live in uncertain times. Therefore, at Centro de Línguas, students welcome the flexibility, and in some cases the continuity, of learning opportunities that online sessions provide. This helps many students maintain the learning momentum with teachers they know and trust.
Ironically, the lockdown period earlier this year proved to be one of their busiest times, as people started to shift to online learning. Realising how easy and effective online learning could be, many became complete converts to this method of delivery, and decided, on balance, this was the way forward for them. And for those who are still uncertain about going online to learn, Centro de Línguas offers a free half hour familiarisation practice session, and invites you to check out their great online lessons’ reviews.
For obvious reasons, although private sessions are still being offered face-to-face, their group courses are taught completely online to comply with current social distancing guidelines. However, such has been the popularity of these courses, that students requested group conversation classes. So, two group conversation sessions now run for beginners and post-beginners for just one lesson each week. Students pay for a month at a time and can therefore ‘attend’ more flexibly, whilst still enjoying the beneficial social dimension to learning. They also have a two-for-one offer on their private lessons so, for more information about their courses, just contact them.
