LENNY KRAVITZ is the headline act on Sunday, June 12 at the Algarve Summer Festival, which starts at 4 p.m.
For Kravitz, the date comes as part of his European tour entitled “Electric Church: One Night Only!” and coincides with the release of his seventh studio album Baptism. The album was written, produced and arranged by Kravitz, who also played all the instruments including piano, drums and bass guitar as well as lead and rhythm guitar.
One of the world’s foremost contemporary rock musicians, Kravitz holds multiple gold and platinum certifications for his albums and singles, and holds a staggering array of music awards including Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and American Music Awards. He achieved the record for the most wins in the “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” category, when he received the award for the fourth consecutive time for the song Dig In (he had previously won the award for Again, American Woman and Fly Away).
In concert with his band at the Algarve Stadium, Kravitz will perform both new and classic material. See What’s On guide for ticket details.
