Following the withdrawal of the Parkalgar Honda team from the Supersport championship, Miguel Praia will compete for the young and ambitious Wilmax Harris outfit in Spain this season.
The Albufeira-based rider completed testing in Jerez last weekend and will fine-tune his Honda at the Portimão Motor Park on March 28 ahead of next Sunday’s start to the neighbouring country’s domestic Moto2 campaign.
Meanwhile the nternational Autodrome of the Algarve (AIA) has secured the 2012 WTCC World Tourism Car Championships bringing the number of major events at the track this year to nine.
