After four years of successful growth at their Quatro Estradas site, Zonda the BBQ shop is moving to new premises.
“All businesses expand and evolve,” said Judith of Zonda, “and we feel that now is a good time to move to a new location, which gives us much more space to display our growing range of products.
“In the new year, we will be offering a much wider range of non-breakable tableware, a selection of hammocks, bar accessories and some really great outdoor games.”
The new site is on the EN125, 700 metres west of the Quatro Estradas traffic lights near Almancil and, a launch party is planned on Thursday, December 7, at 1pm. A cordial invitation is extended to all of Zonda’s valued customers.
Four years ago Roger and Judith opened Zonda as a specialist BBQ shop importing and selling a small range of BBQs. Although the business has now become much more varied, Zonda is still the acknowledged specialist BBQ stockist in the Algarve if not in all of Portugal. Its range now includes Sterling, Broil King, Beefeater and Zonda is proud to have been chosen to be the Weber main dealer for the region.
Zonda is now recognised as the place to visit for everything to do with al-fresco living and over the years, Zonda has built an enviable reputation for the excellence of their customer service and high quality products. Roger says: “The Algarve is a relatively small community and it doesn’t take long for stories of poor service or product quality to ruin a business. We always try our best to find the highest quality products.
“The term ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ is absolutely true as far as outdoor living products are concerned. It’s not difficult to find cheaper products that, on the surface look as good as our products, but what you won’t find out until you’ve had them for a season is that the reason they are cheap is because they don’t last. So, when deciding what to buy to make your patio or terrace beautiful, don’t be seduced by cheaper products because what appears to be a bargain and ‘too good to be true’ probably is!”
