afpop’s Albufeira group attended an olive oil tasting at Monterosa, Horta do Felix, Moncarapacho on October 16.
Forty-four members and friends participated in the tasting,and lunch in the pressing room at the farm.
Many people were unable to get a place at the visit as it was impossible to accommodate a larger group. The group saw the entire process of harvesting, washing and pressing in the latest high-tech machinery containing polished granite pressing wheels.
