Olhão will say farewell to 2016 with a New Year Eve’s party along the town’s riverside.
Festivities begin at 10pm at Jardim do Pescador Olhanense with a performance by local band Gerações.
The party continues at 11.30pm when the town’s popular rock band Iris takes the stage. Their show will stop for a firework display at midnight, and then continue until 1am when Gerações are set to perform again and keep revellers dancing through the night.
Admission is free.
