A campaign to sterilise “at least 100 stray cats” by the end of December is being carried out by Olhão council in collaboration with local vet clinics.
Mayor António Pina says he believes the initiative “provides a solid foundation to control the stray animal population in the borough”. He added that it will also allow the municipality to remain at the forefront of animal protection.
