With no league fixtures owing to international calls, manager Sérgio Conceição gave his new signings a run-out against Farense at the Algarve Stadium last Saturday. Keeper Bacilli (on loan from Porto), midfielder Jose Luis Fernandez (on loan from Benfica) and striker Evandro Brandão started the game. Farense took the lead on thirty-three minutes through Diop. In the second-half, Olhanense brought on David Silva who netted in the 62nd minute to level the score. Boka popped up in the last minute of the game to give the Olhão victory.
