Last Sunday Olhanense travelled to the municipality of Seixal, in the district of Setúbal, to play Amora FC and, once again, returned home pointless.
The first-half saw both teams endeavouring to break the deadlock with the visitors content to be patient and hit their opponents on the counterattack. Eight minutes after the break, the lively Léléco gave the visitors the lead with a superb individual effort.
The Cape Verde international beat two players before firing home. Once again, Olhanense made the same mistake, as they had done against Louletano the previous week, of trying to defend their lead.
In the 68th minute, Leandro made way for Hassan, who re-signed during the week, and 10 minutes later Ivan was replaced by Caleb.
Gradually dropping deeper, Olhanense then conceded two goals in the last 10 minutes through Edgar Marcelino and Gildo Vilanculos to leave the “rubro-negros” with just one point from three games played.
Tough game on Sunday
Olhanense entertain Real SC, from the town of Queluz in the Sintra district of Lisbon, at the José Arcanjo Stadium, Olhão (behind McDonalds on the EN125) this Sunday at 5pm. The visitors are riding high with seven points from their three games.
