Two 23-year-old Italian hopefuls, midfielder Gerevini on-loan from Bologna and forward Mangni ex. Atlanta, Italy, have been added to Cristiano Bacci’s exciting young squad.
In addition, 19-year-old Ivory Coast youth international Junior Landry Ahissan brings the total of new signings to eight with several more newcomers expected in the coming days. Right-wing Ahissan joins from Russian First Division side FC Krylia Sovetov Samara.
In a pre-season practice match at Albufeira last weekend, Olhanense won 4-1 against Ebbsfleet United of English National League South. Jorman Aguilar (11′), Galassi (30′), Martin LK (41′) and Mangni (88′) netted for the Algarve side while Mark Phillips (77′) slotted home for the visitors.
