Olhanense’s new manager José Carvalho Araújo has wasted no time in adding to the squad for the new season, whenever that may be!
The former Braga U23 coach will be without Tiago Jogo who has decided to join Torreense (Torres Vedras) coached by Felipe Moreira who was briefly in charge at Olhanense before the league was suspended.
Mohcine Hassan is rumoured to be on his way to F91 Dudelange (Luxembourg); the tall pacy centre-forward scored 15 goals in the league and cup last season.
Former Olhanense youngster Pedro Albino – he made his first team debut when only 17 – has re-joined the club after failing to break into the Estoril-Praia main squad. The highly respected right-back, now 21, signed for the Segunda Liga outfit two years ago.
Midfield Guilherme Morais has resigned for the coming campaign. The 24-year-old made 14 appearances last campaign and his versatility saw him fill in at central defence and right-back when required.
Expect more signings in the coming days as the nine players already committed to playing in the Campeonato de Portugal prepare to return to training when the Portuguese Football Federation gives the green light.
