Older, wealthier and better educated: these are the Portuguese most receptive to Covid vaccine, hears meeting

Porto university specialist Henrique de Barros presented the Infarmed meeting this morning with the latest results of questionnaires involving thousands of Portuguese who gave an overall picture on how they were coping with the pandemic. He said the most receptive sector of society regarding the various Covid vaccines were the ‘older age groups’. Those aged 40-49 for example showed the least inclination to be vaccinated. He added that “people with higher incomes and further education” appear to be those most keen to receive the vaccines.
