An audience of more than 100 people enjoyed a dinner-concert organised jointly by the Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) and The Angels Theatre Group at the Restaurant Museu do Lagar in Loulé on Saturday, December 5.
The evening was a sell out and the concert, which was a mixture of drama, comedy and song, had the audience joining in singing and swaying to many old favourites.
Organisers said: “Anyone going into an Old Time Music Hall Concert feeling sad is guaranteed to come out singing! It was a great evening of fun, fellowship and fund-raising.”
The evening raised nearly 2,000 euros from ticket sales and a raffle, with the money going to a local charity chosen by the AIRC and The Angels.
