A sad reality of the ‘lack of State healthcare for seniors’ has seen mushrooming situations in which badly run old people’s homes are being denounced through the media. As a result, a new online service has been created to give families looking for alternatives for their elderly relatives a ‘safe space’ in which to make their choices. Input from users and families is part of the project, which intends to update Social Services on responses every month so that ‘horrors’ of elderly people given inadequate care should become less prevalent.
