Oeiras without cars

The municipality of Oeiras is currently marking another week without cars between September 16 and 22. For the third consecutive year, the concelho will subscribe to a European initiative under the collective theme of ‘Safe Roads for Children’. This is a particularly important year for Oeiras, as the concelho will receive around 40 national authorities that have supported the event. The visit was due to take place yesterday (Thursday), a day in which all câmara workers, including the president, will travel to and from the event by train, bicycle or on foot.
