Odiana invites businesses to discuss lower Guadiana tourism

In a bid to come up with a plan to make the lower Guadiana region “more competitive as a tourism destination”, regional association Odiana is hosting three meetings with businesspeople linked to the sector in Alcoutim, Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António on Monday (October 31).

Designed for brainstorming, hopes are that the sessions will help chart the way forwards.

The first meeting will be at 9.30am at Alcoutim town hall, followed by another at Odiana’s headquarters in Castro Marin at 11.30am, and the third at 3pm in Vila Real de Santo António library.

Those keen to take part should sign up no later than Friday (October 28).

Associação Odiana was founded in 1998 by the municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim and VRSA to help with the “economic, social and cultural development” of the lower Guadiana region.
