A fair featuring delicious cakes and sweets made by local confectioners will be held on Easter weekend (March 25-27) in the small town of Odeceixe.
The traditional ‘folar’ Easter cake will be the star of the show, made with a “variety of spices and herbs found in the Costa Vicentina area”.
There will also be stalls selling local produce and handicrafts, as well as entertainment for all ages.
The fair opens at 2pm on Friday and at 11am the following days. Doors close at midnight, though musical entertainment will continue until 2am.
Admission is free.
