Monchique is holding a series of activities for the elderly living in the area this month.
The programme features sports, culture, health and welfare workshops, fado music evenings and other activities at various places in the council area.
The event will also include the presentation of the Monchique Gerontology Programme, a strategic plan for positive ageing.
