Vila Vita Parc’s Ocean restaurant has reopened after undergoing a “dramatic transformation” that has “spectacularly re-imagined” its culinary experience and interior design.
“The restaurant’s stylish renovation reflects the artistry of Chef Hans Neuner’s food, and enhances the singular dining adventure offered,” the resort said in a statement.
The menu has evolved to incorporate an ‘à la carte’ selection of international dishes inspired by ingredients discovered by Portuguese colonial explorers.
Food lovers are now also invited to step into the working kitchen, where they can sample delightful bites prepared by the Chef himself, and discover the philosophy behind his cuisine.
“We wanted to make a greater connection with local producers with a lighter, modern reinterpretation of Portugal’s culinary traditions and flavours,” said Neuner, the man named Portugal’s Chef of the Year in 2009 and 2012.
The Ocean restaurant – one of just three to win two Michelin stars in Portugal – is open from Wednesday to Sunday between 7pm and 10pm.
