Nurses syndicates in 28 countries, including Portugal, have filed a complaint with the UN against the EU, UK and three other countries blocking the release of vaccine patents. The move is designed to “force the release of the patents and accelerate the production and distribution of vaccines to developing countries”. The three other countries included in the complaint are Norway, Sweden and Singapore.
