Nurses announce new strike

Notice of two new strikes called by nursing unions was posted in newspapers on Wednesday. According to the half-page announcement, the strikes will come on November 14 and 21. The action covers morning, afternoon and night shifts. The reason: nurses claim they are overworked, underpaid and undervalued. Despite calling national strike action, the unions say they will ensure “indispensable minimum services”.
