Nudists come to Lagos

AFTER long delays from the câmara, Lagos has finally confirmed that there will be a nudists’ beach in its borough. This Friday (April 1), the beach situated in Meia Praia, between the Bahia beach bar and the Duna beach club, will be officially opened. Later in the day, official plaques will be placed to mark the location of the beach. If weather allows, famous nude band, 3 M’s, will be performing at the beach. The band is composed of Marta Bacalhau (drums and vocals), Maria Pescoço Longo (lead guitar and vocals) and Manuela Barriga Gorda (bass guitar). Members of the Algarve Naturist Club will be handing out leaflets to inform you of your rights and to point out their extensive summer activities. Snacks will be available during the day from the beach bars. As these establishments are outside of the official nudist area, you will have to cover up to be served there!
