A SANTA in Edinburgh, Scotland, has refused to stuff his suit with a pillow because it may promote childhood obesity.
The thin Santa said that children have always seen Santa depicted as a fat man and they may believe it is fine to be overweight. He said he decided to act after he said he noticed that each year, children who sat on his knee were getting progressively heavier. He also said he hoped other Santas would follow suit and trim down for the sake of the kids.
