More than 100 pupils from the International School of the Algarve will be taking to the stage at the Auditorium in Lagoa not once but twice for a performance of the Jungle Book tomorrow (Saturday).
The performance is now taking place at 4.30pm and later at 6.30pm.
Headmaster John Butterworth told the Algarve Resident: “Owing to overwhelming demand for tickets we have decided to do two performances.”
The show is based on the Walt Disney film version of the Rudyard Kipling story and has been directed by the director of music at the school, Gita Nasta, who has been assisted by music teacher Bruno Rodrigues. The cast is made up of pupils from both the National and International sections of the school.
Admission to the show is free, although it is by ticket only and those wanting to attend are advised to book their ticket early through the school office.
