It was a mountain exploding
Following a huge blast last week, which roused suspicion that North Korea was carrying out a nuclear test, the country has backed down to international pressure and given an explanation. Foreign Minister, Paek Nam-sun, said the blast was in fact the deliberate demolition of a mountain as part of a huge, hydro-electric project. He offered this explanation after Bill Rammell, UK Foreign Office Minister, called for information, urging North Korea to allow a British diplomat to inspect the scene.
