A night of live country music and dancing will take place on Saturday, April 28 at Casa das Virtudes, in Faro, from 9pm, with performances by singers Steve & Heather and country rock singer Magpie.
Organisers are inviting all for “an unforgettable night – listen to country, dance country, live country!”
Steve & Heather are singer/songwriters who perform both their original music to covers “totally remodeled to fit them. Expect country, country rock, rock’n’roll and even blues.” Mingled in between their originals, you will find Dire Straits, Joe Cocker, Clint Black, Chris Ledoux, Edith Piaf, Shania Twain or Nina Simone.
“Steve & Heather always have fun on stage and do their best for the crowd to feel it, see it and participate in it,” say organisers, adding that they are a worldwide experienced act, having been awarded Best European Country Band.
Magpie is a country rock singer, songwriter and guitarist. He and his band are currently on their 2023 Tour “Takin’ Country to the City” playing original music, influenced by Americana music, and some popular covers.
There will also be a mechanical bull contest.
