Noddy returns to Portugal

DUE TO popular demand, stage spectacular Noddy Live, a show featuring Enid Blyton’s classic children’s character, returns to Portugal this April.

The show was first staged in Portugal in December last year, with performances in Porto and Lisbon, however, it was only a fleeting visit and the demand for tickets was overwhelming.

Set in ‘Toytown’, the show features breathtaking special effects, music and all of Noddy’s favourite friends, not forgetting Noddy’s famous red and yellow car. Already a major hit in the UK, the show is clearly set to enjoy equal success here, taking advantage of the current craze among young Portuguese children. Noddy is currently shown twice a day on Portuguese RTP2 channel, stores are full of toys, DVDs and clothing featuring the character and there’s even a Noddy bank account provided by Montepio Geral.

Noddy will be delighting young audiences at Lisbon’s Pavilhão Atlântico on April 29 and 30, Pavilhão Multiusos de Guimarães on May 3 and 4 and at Porto’s Coliseu on May 6 and 7. Tickets are available from www.pavilhaoatlantico.pt, Fnac stores, El Corte Inglés and all major ticket outlets nationwide.
