Noddy Holder, the front man of Slade, paid a visit to the Madrugada charity shop in Portimão with his wife and 16-year old son recently.
While in the shop, he bought an electric organ, which had been donated earlier that day, for his son.
Chris Browning (pictured right), the manager of the shop, said: “We had a good chat and he asked me about Madrugada and its aims and said that he supported Marie Curie Cancer Care in the UK. He also said that he liked the Algarve very much and was a frequent visitor here.”
The Madrugada charity shop in Portimão is located near to the TEMPO theatre in the city.
