A group of primary school children from Espiche Nobel Algarve have raised €1,520 for charity following a sponsored walk last month.
The goal was to raise much-needed funds for Mary’s Meal charity in Malawi.
“It’s a fantastic achievement,” said the school in a statement.
The money “will feed approximately 95 children in Malawi for a whole year”.
