A SANTA Claus in an Australian shopping centre was allegedly fired last week for saying “ho ho ho”, after employment company Westaff, had asked its Santas to say “ha ha ha” because the word “ho” is American slang for a prostitute and could potentially offend women.
The disgruntled Santa has been doing this job for three years and said “They’re trying to kill the spirit of Christmas”. Westaff spokesman, Bert Jansz, told the paper that the Santa had been dismissed because of his attitude, and not for his ho ho ho-ing.
