Brian Gault, a thalidomide victim born without arms, (see November 10, edition of The Resident) spoke of his life story at a successful charity event on Thursday, November 16, at the Tavira Christian Centre.
Punctuating his story by waving a leg, much as we would ‘talk’ with our hands, Brian’s speech was an inspiring account of someone, who has allowed nothing to stop him leading a normal life.
After the talk, Brian signed copies of his book, Look No Hands, with his foot, with all proceeds going to help children with similar disabilities in Brazil and other countries around the world.
