IF YOU were one of the lucky invited guests to Hennessy’s ninth birthday celebrations in Lisbon last week then a treat was in store … Drinks were on the house from 6pm to 10pm and there was also an excellent complimentary buffet.
The Resident’s reporter, Bob Hughes was invited along to the bash, where he spoke to several of the partygoers, many of whom told him: “this is Hennessy’s and it’s not just a pub, but a way of life”, “this is our second home,” chirped others. Everyone was in great spirits and it was clear that the guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The highlight of the night was the cake cutting ceremony – the huge Hennessy’s birthday cake was devoured with relish by the evening’s revellers, the majority of whom are regulars at the famous Irish bar.
“Keeping clients happy is of paramount importance,” said Carlos Dias, the bar’s resident manager. Owner, Patrick Achiam, said “I am pleased with the bar’s continued success over the past nine years, we are here to please our clients and when you look around this evening, you can see we do just that.”
The Resident congratulates Hennessy’s on its first nine years, and wishes them many more successful years to come.
Never been to Hennessy’s? Why not visit them and celebrate Halloween. Prizes are on offer for the best costumes.
