Nightlife returns to Lisbon’s Bairro Alto with throngs of young people enjoying ‘party atmosphere’

Throngs of young people have returned to Lisbon’s Bairro Alto, enjoying the nightlife at long last reopened. SIC television news reports today that young people in the streets appear unconcerned about the possibility of infections: they are much more intent on having a good time as the capital’s bars and restaurants are running well with the new rules involving people entering having either negative tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, or a Covid Digital Certificate. That said, most of the young appear to be enjoying the evenings in outside settings, not generally wearing masks or overly concerned with physical distancing.
